Domestic ACS Re-Assessment Chatham Kent

Overview.

Our Domestic ACS Re-Assessment is tailored to experienced gas engineers looking to renew their existing domestic gas qualifications. Whether you need to update your core certificate, select appliance modules, or complete both, we offer flexible options to suit your needs.

What’s Included

Re-Assessment can be booked as a full package or individual modules:

  • CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety (including CPA1 and gas flue analyser)

  • CKR1 – Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances (installation & commissioning)

  • HTR1 – Domestic Open, Balanced & Fan-Flue Gas Fires & Wall Heaters

  • CENWAT – Domestic Instantaneous Water Heating Appliances, Gas-Fired Central Heating, Boilers & Circulators (up to 60 kW)

  • DAH1 – Domestic Gas-Fired Air Heaters (up to 60 kW)

  • MET1 – Domestic Gas Meter Installation, Removal & Commissioning

Why Re-Assessment Matters

Mandatory for Gas Safe Renewal – To maintain Gas Safe registration, engineers must renew their ACS qualifications every 5 years. Re-assessment keeps your certification valid and your business compliant.

MOT-Style Option – You can schedule your re-assessment up to 6 months before your existing qualification expires and retain the original expiry date.

Avoid Starting Over – If your ACS qualification expired more than 12 months ago, you’ll need to undertake a fresh Initial Assessment instead.

How It Works

  • Check Your Documentation – Provide your current ACS certificate and Gas Safe registration to confirm you’re eligible for re-assessment.
  • Choose Your Modules – Select whether you want to renew just the core (CCN1), add specific appliances, or take everything as a full package.
  • Book Your Assessment – Contact our centre for pricing and available dates.
  • Take the Assessment – It combines practical tasks and theoretical knowledge to ensure you’re up to the current professional standard.
