Located in Lordswood, Chatham, Gas Train is a fully accredited training and assessment centre delivering a comprehensive suite of gas, LPG, Water, OFTEC and renewable qualifications.

Overview.
Our LPG ACS program is ideal for gas engineers who want to expand their skills into LPG systems or work in specialised settings such as park homes or leisure vehicles. Some of our advanced modules even cover bulk storage installations and MDPE electrofusion jointing. A valid CCN1 (Core Domestic Gas Safety) or COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety) certificate is required as a prerequisite.

CoNGLP1 PD – Changeover from Natural Gas to LPG (Permanent Dwellings)

CoNGLP1 RPH – Changeover for Residential Park Homes

VESLP1 – Installation & Commissioning of LPG Bulk Storage Vessels (up to 32 mm pipework)

VESLP2 – Installation & Commissioning of LPG Bulk Storage Vessels (up to 63 mm pipework) (commonly completed alongside TPCP1 – Testing & Purging Commercial Pipework)

EFJLP1 – Electrofusion Jointing of MDPE Pipework

HTRLP2 – Working with LPG Closed-Flued Fires: install, exchange, service, repair, and commission

LAV – LPG installations for Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (e.g., caravans, motorhomes)
