About us.
Founded in 2002, Gas Train was created with a clear vision: to provide high-quality, accessible, and industry-relevant gas training and assessment for engineers across the South East.
Our Early Years
Our first home was a converted industrial unit with just one training room, one theory room, and a small workshop area. At that time, we focused exclusively on Domestic Gas Training and Assessments. Demand quickly grew, and it wasn’t long before we expanded our scope to include Commercial Gas and LPG qualifications. Offering three categories of training, it became clear that we had outgrown our original site.
Growth and Development
In 2006, we moved into our purpose-built Training Centre in Lordswood, Chatham, which doubled the size of our classrooms and workshop facilities. This move allowed us to expand our capabilities and provide a more comprehensive and professional training environment for candidates.
By 2008, we achieved accreditation as a Logic Certification Centre, opening the door to an even wider range of training opportunities. In addition to gas qualifications, we began delivering courses in Renewables and Level 2 Gas Awareness in Social Housing.
Continuing to Evolve
Gas Train has always embraced change and innovation within the industry. To meet the increasing demand for training and assessment, we embarked on an expansion of our training centre in 2019.
This extension allowed us to enhance our facilities while ensuring that our existing classrooms, workshops, and assessment areas continued to operate without disruption.
