Located in Lordswood, Chatham, Gas Train is a fully accredited training and assessment centre delivering a comprehensive suite of gas, LPG, Water, OFTEC and renewable qualifications.

Overview.
Our Commercial Changeover programme (CoDNCO1) is specifically designed for domestic gas engineers who want to expand their qualifications and step into commercial gas work. Suitable for both Initial Assessments (for those new to commercial work) and Re-Assessments (for renewing existing certification), the course requires a minimum of 12 months’ Gas Safe registration and relevant experience.

You can complete the changeover as a full package or select individual modules according to your needs:

CoDNCO1: Changeover from Domestic Natural Gas to Commercial Natural Gas

CIGA1: Commissioning, servicing, repair & breakdown of commercial indirect-fired heating appliances

CORT1: Handling overhead commercial radiant plaque & tube heaters

ICPN1: Installation (first fix) of commercial pipework

TPCP1: Testing & purging of large commercial pipework (>1 m³, up to 7 bar NG / 2 bar LPG)

TPCP1A: Testing & purging of low-pressure commercial pipework (≤1 m³, up to 21 mbar)

CDGA1: Commissioning, service, repair & breakdown of direct-fired commercial heating appliances

BMP1: Installation, commissioning & servicing of gas boosters

- Certification: Pass the assessments to qualify for commercial gas work under your updated Gas Safe registration.
