Domestic ACS Initial Assessment Training Chatham Kent

Overview.

Our Managed Learning Programme is a recognised entry route to ACS and subsequent registration with Gas Safe Register. MLP follows a structured programme of guided learning designed to meet the requirements for experienced new entrants to the gas industry, consisting of both centre based guided learning and ‘on the job’ gas work experience – provided by your own Gas Safe Registered engineer acting as the onsite mentor (we cannot provide the workplace mentor).

Certificated by LCL Awards our MLP course will comprise of formative and summative assessments carried out using a variety of methods including multiple choice, short written response and scenario questions together with observed practical tasks using a realistic scenario within the assessment centre. On the job training will be carried out on days not attending Gas Train. Upon completion of the on the job gas portfolio MLP paperwork will be transmitted for MLP certification, to then allow ACS assessments for CCN1 & CENWAT to be completed.

The portfolio is built using the jobs and knowledge gained under the supervision of your registered workplace mentor. We currently use an online portfolio system, which we have found to be an efficient way to keep up to date with your portfolio progress and feedback.
